What can you REALLY do about CO^2 emissions?
A recent post entitled - Do you REALLY want to do something about CO2 emissions? Link – got me to thinking and while I was trying to add a small comment … well, things kind of got away from me and the following article resulted.
Point taken, but I think we already know the answers to this, hum ... Global Warming Dilemma. By the way, I was under the impression that China has already surpassed us in CO^2 emissions? It is my perceptive that the whole idea though is to promote the New World Order with the Socialist controlling everything and the morally upstanding U.N. policing the world while ensuring peace and tranquility through their proven steadfast moral righteousness which they have repeatedly demonstrated … Whoa … glad I woke up from that bad dream.
If it were possible to stop all the emissions of greenhouse gasses throughout the world, then that would be something. Not real sure what that something would be, but is surely wouldn’t stop Global Warming just as it wouldn’t prevent another eventual Ice Age. So let’s consider this. Say we stop all emissions in the USA, and some of the emissions from some other countries, what is to be gained? China, Russia, India and many other big polluters will keep the emissions up and keep modernizing their infrastructure while we what … go back to cooking on an open fire? Oops, can’t do that without adding to those nasty emissions, guess we will have to revert to our prehistoric ancestral state and eat things raw. Cannot defecate which would add to the emissions, guess we have to hold it … indefinitely. Cannot eat foodstuffs that are grown as they suck up emissions and we have to have them to offset what the Chinese are emitting. We might as well just curl up into a little ball and die because there is virtually NOTHING we can REALLY do that has a snowballs chance in hell of saving the world … we are all doomed!!! Unless of course we convert to socialism … then the world will be ... safe once again.
The whole point here is you just cannot go backwards unless the whole world goes back with you. What are the chances of this happening … zilch about sums it up? You ADVANCE your technological base to find more environmentally friendly ways of doing things while cleaning up what can economically be cleaned. Our country has to live within its means just as our families do or the same thing happens to both … we go bust!
This is where the Global Warming charade comes into the picture. You see, the advancement of our technological base is by far best served through capitalistic free market enterprise and research and development. There, I’ve gone and done it now. I have mentioned the one word that sucks the air out of the socialistic Liberals both here and abroad … CAPITALISM! It is just that simple!!!
