At least bring common sense to the table
… In a Pig’s Eye!

When I look at the media, what I see is a den of liberal bedfellows. Sure there are occasional conservative leaning article, but those are usually condescending in some way. Think back 10 years or so, before widespread internet access, talk radio and Fox News … where was one to go for something besides liberal biased information. Word of mouth will only go so far. The media wasn’t quite as deferential back then, but still favored the liberal view. Why is there such an outcry at the few conservative media outlets? What is the proposed liberal solution to the SMALL conservative market, why they are taking steps to just make it go away? What else would one expect of them?

There are very few conservative leaning newspapers and those are pretty much locally distributed (thank God for the internet), so the attack will be mostly against the radio talk show industry. Here is how it will work. The fairness proposals will FORCE stations that carry conservative opinions (even liberal leaning stations that misspeak) to offer equal time for liberal rebuttals. Why you ask, is this an attack against conservatives; you see, liberals have repeatedly attempted to be compete on talk radio, but were complete abject failures despite the untold $millions$ they wasted in their efforts. The mere mention of ANYTHING that can be misconstrued as RIGHT leaning, no matter how minuscule, will immediately prompt a tsunami of demands from the liberal watchdog machine demanding equal time to present their opposing opinions. Eventually, the stations will become so inundated with DEMANDS for equal liberal time that they will be forced to STOP presenting the RIGHT perspective due to programming nightmares and the PROVEN inability of the LEFT to foster a listening audience. Wow. I just checked out your link and...wow! You have a lot to say! I'm afraid I just can't sink my teeth into such subjects, though. I guess 'cause no matter how much I rail and scream there's not a thing I can do about any of it.

But rock on, sistah! You tell 'em...

Liberals and the Fairness doctrine are the same as the clowns at Universities not allowing Conservatives to speak.  For they know they cannot defeat them with debate, so have to stiffle their speech in order to not allow their message to get out.  The effect of the fairness doctrine would not be more liberals on the radio, as you have noted they cannot draw an audience, but the silencing of the conservatives.  That is their aim.  Not fair debate - but their opinions being the only allowable speech.

Doc, when I wrote this article, I was starting on a journey in search of the truth. As one might expect, I started on God and you know the results. I took almost 3 years out of my whiting and began studying ... everything and many of my views have been updated and yes many completely reversed. So here is the new and improved me.

The neocons and the neolibs control all the media outlets and neither one could exist without the other. Just as with the Democrats and the Republicans ... inseparable and for the same reason. Simply put, as long as we allow our government to divide us with ideological impossibilities like Democrat and Republican (what side to sit on), we are doomed. The names are used today as if they have some meaning besides corruption. It doesn’t matter what we profess to believe or what we are going to do about it … we aren’t getting anything done that needs to be done until we stop the government from dividing us into malleable segments of society.
