At least bring common sense to the table
The choice is ours to make ... for now!

There is only ONE difference between our two presumably ‘for the people’ governmental parties. One is for CAPITOLISM and the other for SOCIALISM … period! Call them whatever you like, they have virtually nothing in common with the politicians of old, the ones that used to concern themselves with the welfare of America and its people. EVERYTHING they spew now is ‘propaganda’ used to recruit additional adherents and to motivate their bases which have already been suckered into their madness. The Republicans at least still have some morals, but they are slipping away too and of course, they are willing to sell out for the measly possibility of additional votes.

I refuse to accept socialism if for no other reasoning, that there has never ever been a successful case in all of recorded history. Socialism has much appeal and in almost any form, could provide an exceptional environment … in an ideal world. But because we are dealing with more than one human being … well need I say more. It looks so damn good on paper but is completely beyond our grasp, humans being what they are. Look at all the empires that have failed and all the pain and suffering their people suffered under socialisms yoke. There is no middle class under socialism … there is the elite ruling class who makes all decisions and there is the ‘everyone else in the country’ class … the lower class. This is what socialism is all about. The misconception is that everyone is elevated to the middle … that is not so.

All things considered, I personally choose capitalism for reasons I consider irrefutable and in the best interests of the people and the country. The Republican Party as is, is not the true solution we need because they have distanced themselves from the Conservative principles that made them strong advocates for the people. They are doing their best to act like Democrats. But, they are the short term solution because if you don’t like your officials, there are mechanisms to kick them out or vote them out of office. Not so in a socialist government. What you see is what you will have … period. There will be no political competition there.

The Democrat Party of old was The Party that championed the working class in America, not so any more. Now they are out of the closet and openly promote socialism and they are the party that sponsors poverty, illegal immigration, racism and anything else that demeans capitalistic principles, individual rights, evangelical rights or the Constitution. All of you have to make your own choices, but I don’t see how you realistically can when you refuse to face the main issue and allow yourself to be suckered by emotional tirades on meaningless little side issues that are little more than camouflage. The choice is ours to make … for now! You might consider this one thing … can you name even ONE program that the federal government has ever run successfully for any length of time? I sure can’t (at least none that will survive the birth of socialism). Is there some reason why you think they are going to learn how to do so in the foreseeable future (say by 2008)?
