I have always said and always will say, Obama did not win because he was the right candidate for the job. He won because people were duped into the idea that Bush was gonna keep running the country, in a metaphorical sense.

I of course agree that Obama is a failure on all fronts, but what is this about Bush? I think a better scenario might go like this …

Bush’s first term I can mostly live with, but not so the second term. Anyway, it seemed to me that Bush was ‘trying’ to weaken his own Party for who knows what reasons. My WAG is that he was setting up a scenario were the Dems (Obama just happened to be it) would have a good foothold for our continued financial collapse and it worked as planned, unfortunately.

I never did figure how McCain got the nomination in the first place because he represented most of the things Conservatives DO NOT admire … It could NOT have been done without finagling behind the scenes (Like Reid’s last election).

Well, we are here now and can only struggle at the ballot box and hope at least SOME of our elected officials stick to their pledges … as we try to build up their ranks with actual civic minded people. People had better stop the hate and selfishness and foolishness … while we still can.

I will state mine.  Ask anyone here, I am no Obama apologist.  I will skip the birth certificate issue for the moment, and go for the rest.

Obama is not you.  Perhaps in his own mind he believes he is right, as the matters are subjective. Crazy poeople are not that way intentionally.  They do not wake up one day and say "Hey!  I want to be crazy!".  I would say that Obama is at best delusional, and at worst a liar and hypocrite.  But as I am not inside his mind, I cannot say what he is or even if he is.  I can only judge him by my standards, and yes, by my standards he is WRONG on almost every count you list.  But is he lying by saying he is right when he knews he is wrong?  I forget the source, but the quote goes something like "do not attribute to malisciouness what can more easily be explained by stupidity".

You see, more than others, I do not buy his brilliance mantel.  I think he really is a simple man at heart (simple as in simpleton).  He may be a liar, but I think he is just stupid.

Which brings me to the first point - the birth certificate.  A smart man would have gotten that out of the way early and effectively.  A stupid man would get angry over the very question and dig in his heels just to show others he will not be pushed around.

So yes, I think he is  just a stupid citizen.

I am not concerned with what is in his mind (can only speculate anyway) and I do know how you feel about him. However, if one considers his choice of people that he has and is associating with, I think we could surmise much.

I know he is a liar because I sat here many times and watched him do it openly. I know he is not good for America or the world because I see what he is doing. I know that he has no respect whatsoever for the Constitution and I know he surrounds himself with other radical socialists. And he can usually read a teleprompter.

What matters what is in the mind of such an individual. I guess a simple one word description would be “BAD” as in for America and ME TOO.  That is enough for me ... and easy supported by looking back through the last two years of his disservice. Yes he is stupid and we had better be thankful for that fact too.
